4th Advanced Cable Middle East 2018

In the face of market instability as well as a change in date to warmer months, the 4th Advanced Cable Middle East 2018 (ACME 2018) was a success. Bringing together key stakeholders from across the supply chain to the Conrad Dubai from the 8th – 9th of May for laser focused discussions and valuable networking sessions, pushing the industry forward.

Integer would like to thank all the attendees, speakers and sponsors for playing an essential part of ACME 2018.

The programme had a great line up of leading industry experts who delivered insightful presentations addressing key issues across high-performance cable markets. Key themes covered were:

  • Changes and synergies shaping the Middle East cable industry
  • Key strategies for sustaining competitive advantages
  • Insight into the Middle East energy and electricity industry and new changes in cable use
  • Best practices for cable testing
  • Developments and innovation in renewable energy supply and transmission
  • Improving power cable product quality in the middle east
  • Fire performance cable use in construction sector

ACME 2018 provided an excellent forum for discussion and knowledge sharing as well as a great networking platform. We saw particular interest from delegates in the economic and market development opening sessions, as well as power cable and fire performance cable sessions.
