Josie Armstrong

Head of Consultancy

Josie Armstrong is the Head of Consultancy at Integer, with experience managing and undertaking single client assignments covering a range of industries including wire and cable, emissions, and fertilizers. Consultancy projects she has led include due diligence of Australian infrastructure projects, and a feasibility study for a Middle Eastern power cable plant. Josie has recently returned to London from working in Australia, where she managed consultancy assignments primarily related to the Asia-Pacific region for CRU Strategies. More recently she worked as a Market Analyst for BP in Australia. Josie was previously awarded a scholarship from the Centre for Chinese Business and Development to undertake a Masters in Chinese and Business at the University of Leeds, which included an internship at a sourcing firm in Shanghai. Prior to this, Josie gained an MA(Hons) in European Union Studies with German from the University of Edinburgh.

Monica is the Head of Publications at Integer Research working across the emissions and fertilizer sectors. She is an experienced commodity markets reporter and consultant and has previously worked in the petrochemical sector, editing weekly and monthly publications and managing industry price assessments.

Director of Wire & Cable

Philip Radbourne heads up the wire and cable research team at Integer Research Ltd. He is one of the founders of the company. Integer Research provides a range of information, reports, and consultancy services to the steel, aluminium, wire and cable, and fertilizer industries. Philip has more than 13 years of experience in business analysis and consulting.

Philip has managed market studies, which analysed a range of products from power cables, magnet wire, LAN data cables to copper telecom and fibre optic cables. He has also worked on a range of products from power cables to LAN data cables, where LS0H or fire resistance have been an issue. Philip has travelled extensively visiting cable companies in the Americas, Europe, and Asia (including India, ASEAN and South Korea). He worked with management in a number of cable companies, covering company strategy, market analysis and technical studies.

A petroleum engineer by training, he spent a couple of years in Norway working in the oil industry for Schlumberger. He won a Chevron Oil Scholarship to study at Imperial College, London, UK.

Adam is a senior analyst and a contributor to consulting assignments across all Integer’s business areas. He has several years’ experience in research and analysis covering a range of industrial and agricultural commodities, gained in both commercial research and consultancy and the intergovernmental sector. He has been responsible for the editing and publication of a number of regular market studies, as well as leading and executing single client consultancy projects; and has addressed and chaired several international industry conferences across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, as well as having been interviewed and quoted in a range of media outlets ranging from industry publications to the BBC and CNBC. He graduated with a Bsc Economics from the University of London.

Andrea has presented at a number of industry events, including the ArabCab annual conference, where he presented the results of the extensive research he carried out to publish the Integer Focus Report: Wire & Cable Middle East Markets. Andrea has an MA in International Business and a BA in International Economics.

Dorit Schulte

Dorit works on assignments across Integer’s business areas. She is a regular contributor to Integer’s emissions publications and consultancy projects with a particular focus on the Brazilian emissions markets and regularly writes about the South American and European AdBlue markets in the AdBlue & DEF Monitor. She has been involved in several publications and consultancy projects throughout Integer’s fertilizer business. Dorit holds an Msc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and is fluent in German and Portuguese.

Niels Tholen

Dr. Niels Tholen received his B.Sc. from Zuyd University (NL), M.Sc. from the University of Utrecht (NL) and finally his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Imperial College, London.

He has previously worked at the expert network firm GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) where he was involved in Business Development across several global top corporate accounts. Prior to this, he worked at the boutique headhunt company McSherry Brown where he worked with the Head of Research regarding financial services Competitive Intelligence and on occasional headhunt assignments. During his academic career he has worked at petrochemical / pharmaceutical firms such as AKZO Nobel - EKA Chemicals (now Lawter / Hexion), Organon (now MSD), SGS Intron and was involved in exchange programs such as the Erasmus program which saw him conduct research at the Helsinki University of Technology in Finland for the duration of one year.

He is an Industry Analyst and works on assignments across all Integer’s business areas and is fluent in English, Dutch and a less well-known German dialect called Limburgian.

Fabricio Cardoso is a Senior Analyst in Integer's emissions sector and the project manager of several consultancy projects and regular publications covering emissions control technologies and the European AdBlue and North American DEF markets. He is also the editor of the AdBlue & DEF Monitor. Fabricio has several years of work experience in fuels and biofuels quality, engines and emissions standards, as well as in the energy regulatory framework in Latin America. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the Polytechnic School of São Paulo, a MSc in Transport and Sustainable Development from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines de Paris, and an MBA in Agribusiness from ESALQ, the Agricultural School of the University of São Paulo. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

An economics graduate, Ibi has worked for four years in the agribusiness industry, providing analysis and consultancy services to industry stakeholders. He has been involved in several high profile studies, including successful tenders to the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development. As someone who is interested in developing economy agriculture, he has worked on various projects in Africa, including successful bids in Sierra Leone, Mozambique and Morocco. Ibi joined Integer as an analyst in October 2012.

Laura is a Senior Analyst with a particular focus on fertilizer markets. Laura is Integer’s Lead Nitrogen Analyst and Editor of the Nitrogen Cost and Profit Margin Service. Most recently she has worked extensively on the preparation of marketing prospectuses for the financing stages of several greenfield nitrogen investments in North America. Laura has presented at numerous international conferences on fertilizer market trends, the industrial nitrogen market, and long-term fertilizer demand. Laura has a BSc in Physical Geography from King’s College London.

He works on Integer's regular publications covering all major nutrients and on the company's consultancy assignments, including on mine feasibility studies, producer cost studies, developing market demand studies and in-depth regional market studies. He also works on Integer's emissions publications, covering Eastern European and Iberian AdBlue markets for the AbBlue & DEF Monitor. He has previously worked as a journalist, has an MA in Philosophy and started his career as the editor of the University of Bristol newspaper, Epigram.

As Delegate Sales Manager for the conference division at Integer Research, Charles is responsible for driving delegate sales for the complete series of conferences. Charles also develops long term relationships with key OEMs and Tier 1/ tier 2 suppliers, demonstrating the value of attending and/or sponsoring the Integer’s Emissions Summit Series (conferences currently held in Russia, Asia, Brazil, Europe, USA and India).

Charles has a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management from Manchester Metropolitan University and has actively promoted, organised and delivered events for various audience groups. Events he has worked on include: Kendal Calling Festival, Warehouse Project, Gatecrasher, and Manchester Athletics Union. One in particular that aided his personal development was a fundraising event in support of ‘Cystic Fibrosis Trust’ known as ‘Live@235’. With over 150 attendees, only 3 months lead time and a budget of £50 it was Charles key responsibility to come up with concepts, manage a team of 10 and ensure sponsors saw true value for endorsement. The event raised over £2,000 for the charity.

David has over ten years' experience in marketing business to business conferences and exhibitions working across a number of industry sectors, including local government and energy. David joined Integer in May 2012.

Cheryl has been producing Integer’s events in China, Brazil and India. She began her career in conferences in China and joined Integer’s London office in 2012 after receiving her Master degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources from University of Warwick, UK. Cheryl comes from China and speaks fluent Mandarin and English.

Daniela joined Integer in May 2012 as Office Manager. She handles HR administration, customer services,and facilities management. Daniela has five years experience of office management previously with a medical practice, and more recently with an alternative investment fund administration company. She comes from Slovakia and has an MA in politics from London Metropolitan University.

James Dixon is Sales Manager across all publications and websites. Integer produces a number of market and company specific reports to ensure that companies in their respective industries can keep track of their fast developing sector. The reports range from pricing through to technology; and from industry legislation to company performance.

The websites FindAdBlue.com and DiscoverDEF.com are the information source for the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and AdBlue industries; for consumers in the USA and Europe respectively. The websites enable customers to source diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and AdBlue, and learn how to use and handle it correctly. These websites are also the leading provider for industry news/ developments within the diesel emissions industry.

James has been with Integer since early 2009. Previously he has worked in real-estate, TV advertising and corporate hospitality. James has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Law.

Peter is Business Development Manager for Integer’s Reports, and works over the Wire & Cable and Fertilizer industries.

Integer produces a number of market and company specific reports to ensure that companies in their respective industries can keep track of their fast developing sectors. Peter co-ordinates the sales campaigns for a number of different publications Integer have to offer.

Peter joined Integer in 2011. He has previous experience market analysis for the construction sector. Peter has a degree from Sussex University.

She has more than six years’ experience tracking and analysing global sulphur and sulphuric acid markets, assessing numerous price ranges and producing demand and supply models to deliver to consultancy clients. She also has significant experience covering phosphates and agricultural markets. Meena has given papers at several industry events as well as the USDA headquarters in Washington DC. She graduated with Honours in English Literature and Language from the University of Liverpool and went on to complete a short course in MSc Agricultural Economics at SOAS. She is bilingual in English and Gujarati.

Lynn Wang has been a fertilizer analyst since 2005 and a member of the Integer team since July 2013. Prior to joining Integer she was a senior analyst and consulting manager for a Chinese state-owned consulting company. She has covered fertilizer market analysis of all major fertilizer products primarily with a China focus, including pricing, supply, demand and production costs and margins. Lynn has undertaken reports for leading companies both in China and internationally. She has a Masters in Chemistry from Beijing Normal University, a leading university in China.

Tim is a Director of Integer Research, and is responsible for the company’s work in the environmental sector. This covers stationary and mobile emissions control technologies and related chemicals such as AdBlue.

In the lead-up to Euro 4 & 5 implementation in Europe, Tim worked closely with truck OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, oil companies, and AdBlue suppliers to develop market forecasts, commercial strategy, and other key business development issues.

Tim has degrees in chemical engineering and economics. He has previously worked in the design and operation of petrochemical plants, and in commodity market analysis and consultancy in the chemical industry.
