SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT and
SENIOR TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Tim Jackson is senior vice president and chief technology officer. He has global responsibility for driving standards in all engineering processes and leading development of the company’s technology roadmap.
Previously, Mr. Jackson served as senior vice president for global technology and general manager Asia-Pacific. He was responsible for operations in China, Thailand, Australia, and the aftermarket operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Before that, he served as senior vice president for global manufacturing, engineering and technology and had global responsibility for designing products for ease of manufacture and for driving standards in all engineering and manufacturing processes. Mr. Jackson has also served as senior vice president of the North American original equipment business.
Mr. Jackson joined Tenneco Automotive in June 1999 with over 20 years of management experience and 14 years within the automotive industry. Prior to joining Tenneco, he served in senior management positions at ITT Industries, B.F. Goodrich Aerospace and General Motors Corporation.
Mr. Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and holds a master’s degree in manufacturing management from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering and Management Institute).
