Tim Tice, API
Tim Tice currently manages API’s Aftermarket Audit Programs for the Engine Oil Licensing and Certification System and the Diesel Exhaust Fluid Certification Program. Engine oils certified under the Engine Oil Licensing and Certification System are authorized to display two marks, the API Service Symbol “Donut” and Certification Mark “Starburst.” Fluids certified under the Diesel Exhaust Fluid Certification Program are authorized to display the API Certified Diesel Exhaust Fluid Mark. Both of these voluntary programs help consumers identify quality fluids for their gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles.
Tim graduated with a B.A. from the University of South Carolina and has worked for API since 2007.
