David Siler is Marketing Director for Detroit Diesel Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Trucks, North America’s largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. Headquartered in Redford, Michigan, Detroit Diesel engines are available in Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, Custom Chassis, and Thomas Built Buses ranging from 190 HP to 560 HP. An industry veteran, David has worked in the Truck and Engine OEM business for more than 20 years, holding sales and marketing positions at Detroit Diesel, Freightliner Trucks, and Navistar. Under his leadership and direction, Detroit Diesel successfully launched the all new DD15 and DD13 engines and has established itself as a leader in SCR emissions control technology in North America.
