Mike Osenga is president of Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications and publisher of Diesel Progress and Diesel Progress International, both trade magazines for the global engine and engine-powered equipment markets headquartered in Waukesha, Wis. Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications is the parent company of the Diesel Progress’.
Osenga joined Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications as an associate editor in 1975. He was named editor-in-chief of Diesel Progress in 1989; editor & publisher in 1995, and publisher in 1997.
He was named president of Diesel & Gas Turbine Publications in 2005. He is also senior editor for the company’s Diesel & Gas Turbine Worldwide and CompressorTechtwo magazines. In his 37 years with Diesel Progress, he has written over 1200 feature articles on literally all aspects of the engine and equipment business.
Mike is a graduate of Carroll College, Waukesha, Wis. with degrees in political science and mass communications. He has also worked as a reporter for the Waukesha Freeman newspaper and in the public relations department of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team.
