David Uschwald began his career at General Motors/Detroit Diesel Allison with assignments including industrial engineering, statistical process control, overseas project management, quality, supply chain management, and manufacturing. In 1991 he entered into the remanufacturing industry as VP/GM of Detroit Diesel Corporation. He was assigned COO of Purem, a producer of diesel exhaust systems using diesel particulate filters (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology in 2004. In 2007, he was appointed Director of SCR infrastructure supporting Daimler’s EPA 2010 Technology for Diesel Exhaust Fluids (DEF). In 2009, he joined Integer Research focusing on vehicle emission requirements. David joined Meritor in 2010 as Sr. Manager of Quality and was named Director of Global Remanufacturing Operations in 2012 supporting the aftermarket commercial vehicle industry. David is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a M.S. degree in Industrial Technology.
