Strong orders and heavy investment – assessing world’s leading cable companies’ outlook for 2012

“In the last two months, we have been able to assess the performance of the world’s leading cable companies in 2011, and how they see the outlook for 2012.

We have also just come back from the wire 2012 show in Düsseldorf, Germany. Companies such as Nexans, ABB and Prysmian appear to be in a very solid position to benefit from the increased investment in a range of power system products, from HVDC cables, HV/EHV submarine power cables, overhead lines and a range of conventional utility power cables.”

The piece above has been extracted from an article on the world’s leading cable companies and their outlook for 2012, written by Integer’s Director of Research, Philip Radbourne and published in Wire Technology magazine.
